Safety Rules:

    • Each shooter must fill out and turn in a release, waiver and indemnity agreement
    • No alcohol is permitted on the course or prior to shooting
    • Guns should not be loaded until you are in the shooting station and ready to shoot
    • Only two rounds are to be loaded in your gun when preparing to shoot
    • Absolutely no backup shooting; only the shooter in the station is allowed to fire at targets
    • Keep gun pointed down range when in the station
    • If two targets are broken with one shot, make sure to eject the second round before leaving the station
    • If your guns should jam, keep it pointed down range and contact the range manager for assistance
    • When moving between stations or around Chilhowee Sportsman’s Club property, all pump and automatic guns must be breeched open and all double barrels broke open to insure gun is not loaded
    • Valid driver’s license is required to operate Club Car or any other vehicle on Club property
    • Eye and hearing protection must be worn while shooting
    • In instance of misfire, stay in the station with gun pointed down range, check for and remove wad from barrel
    • Anyone not following the Safety Rules will be asked to leave Club property
